sup
i'm Moltar.. Master Chef of Bria server

and i'm tired of getting pissed on by the devs

so i'm thinking of giving up swg for a while and going with Final Fantasy 11
anyone else thinking the same?
i hear that it's been out in Japan for something like a year already.. there are no game breaking bugs, if any anymore
and they have a non buggy chef!
and.. Chocobos.. but that's something different

sure.. no ownable vechicles but.. it's not like we are ever going to get them in this game at this rate anyway.. and if we do they will probably be so borked it won't be worth it
no player cities.. i hate that.. i did want a player city.. but.. eh.. see above for borkedness

I dunno.. i'm seriously thinking about it
what do u guys think?
u guys know better than anyone the state of this entired borked game

I beta'd FF11 and it's...um...well...interesting.

Its catered to the Console Gamer audience. There's not much going on right now. The missions ARE fun, but otherwise its just a lot of monster smashing a la Ragnarok online.

I think its a COOL game, but as I said, its far LESS complicated and Involved than SWG is, and so It took away some of the spunk for me.

I think FF11 will do very well, but I'm not going for it.

I just canned my SWG account due to so many bugs and general game problems. I was a Master Chef, Master Merchant, and Novice Rifleman and this game was nothing but heartache as I watched my beloved classes get slaughtered time and time again.

I will be heading towards FFXI. It will be nice to play in an established game. I'm hoping to get in with a guild after a week or so of figuring out the basis of the game (I'm an ex-EQ player). If any of the Devs read this post, I want to make one final statement...

"When you leave one class behind while you fix others, players begin to feel left out. Star Wars Galaxies is not a strong enough game right now to have classes that are completely broken like Chefs and Merchants currently are. If my class was functioning and even just a little something special, I would have paid for another month. Then if you got content into the game, I would have paid for another month. And finally, if you would have stopped promising world and would have started delivering some answers, I would have stayed forever."

I am.

I'm not even a chef but I rely on their products in order to play. The game has been unplayable since last patch.

I hope you all enjoy the game, but I just have this feeling that swg players will NOT be satisfied with it. There's just, I dunno. Something not nearly as cool about it. Oh boy! I cut up a bee with my knife. I cut ANOTHER bee! WOW! Bats! Hey! It's 3 hours later and I still haven't gained a new skill. The lvl'ing is so straightforward it kills me, and the controls(last I used them) were so simplistic i was confused(i think that speaks more poorly on ME than the game, though).

Like I said, the missions are interesting though. And maybe you guys can figure out how to make a house seem cool. Let me know how it turns out.

Actually, I thought he was talking about SWG =)

I'm to the point now I'd rather play in traffic then play SWG anymore. At least when I'm playing in traffic I don't have to worry about chat bugs, or dealing with huge balance issues (if a semi-truck cons red, and it hits me, I think I'll prob lose). Also, I would have a better chance talking my friends into playing in traffic with me before they'd come back to SWG...

Will be FFXI be the best thing ever? I'm going to guess no. Will it be an imporovement over SWG? I can't see it not.
