well, i dont like what im reading about chef so far. Holocron says chef, so chef it will be..but in duress. Why should i be FORCED into playing a BUGGED class? Is that what the force is? forcing people to play lame and broken classes...what a joke; and really takes from the flavor of the game (my new chef talk). I have worked hard to become tka master/ ch master/ and a dabbler of the healing arts...all well planned, my choices noble and my play honorable...but it all came down to camping force-sensitive NPCs until I got a communist order to do what was against my wishes.

Then DONT DO IT. You know we get sick of you chef holocron whiners coming here to remind us how broken we are and whine about how lame we are GO AWAY. We have enough problems as a community most of us are barely hanging on by a thread. We dont need you jerk holocrom made me do it whiners coming in here and telling us how lame and how mad you are that you drew the ohh so broken chef class WAHHH. you are happy with you character now GOOD shut up and play it then.

well if the professions you have to master are only a couple things on a large check list of things you have to do to get an FS Slot then, technically you dont have to switch professions.

You do have a choice: if grinding up to Master Chef "costs" more than a FS slot is worth to you, don't do it. No one said it's required that you try to get a Jedi character, if you want to keep your tka/ch, go right ahead. If you really want a FS character without giving up your current one, start a new character on another server for the express purpose of getting a Jedi. Just because SOE dangles a holocron carrot in front of your eyesdoesn't mean that you are forced to follow it, and if you choose to follow it, well then you know where your priorities are.

WOW, I didnt expect such a slap in the face for making an observation. Seems your a little touchy on this subject. I know what i can and cant do. I know what choices are and how they areintimatly connected to consequences. My onlypoint was I didn't like being force fed a profession in order to advance. All in the name of buyingtime for developers. My other point was how can a profession be bugged this late in the game? You act as if you own this profession because you chose to be a chef, and us holoscum are somehow stealing your honor.Look, i'll stay out of your kitchen. But know this...im mighty handy with avibroknuckler and will out-chef you anyday...Actually, being a force sensitive chef,it will be none the task...

flipping burgers for 5 bucks an hour dont make you a chef....

Big fat 1-stars for ya, bud.

Why the hell are you asking us how a profession can be bugged this late into the game? We're well aware of the fact that we are broken, and have been doing everything we can to fight it. Unfortunately, the developers have not paid any attention to us because we are such a small community.

Why don't you do something constructive about it, instead of preaching to the **edit** choir? /Bug every chef bug, every day, like many of us do. File customer service reports, even though they'll feed you canned answers. Post on and start threads on the more general boards, where it might, just might, get noticed by developers (It certainly won't around here...there has been no developer activity since Correspondent Responses were posted...in fact, they haven't even publicly acknowledged the fact that the current buff bug DOES exist)

I was trying to show sympathy, in my own way, for the bugged profession. I was not trying to insult you guys nor was i trying to say you are the blame. I'm sure you have tried to get fixes on the profession. I was actually looking forward to being part of the chef world and wanted to send a messege to developers that; if you intend to force people to do a given profession, better have the profession up and running for operation. obadeee obadeee That's alll folks!

Whats even funnier then us being broken,is how phased out they have made us. If you want food or drink you can just go get some decorations from the NPC bartender, and the niche market we had of mind buffs was given away to dancers and musicians. As far as the other buffs, there is not shortage of more effective spice or doctor buffs around (atleast in my server, there are master doctors everywhere).
