Is carbon copy working yet? We have a master chef in our PA who is interested in checking these changes out but he doesnt want to go thru a grind of it again, plus its 10x harder doing this grind without friends or resources to work with, and I am sure the TC community doesnt feel like giving away their resources.

Right now all the changes are on test and I strongly urge everyone to post your comments on the "In Test" thread. Now is the time to test and tweak things and your input is very important now.

When you say "all the changes are on test" do you mean that the current TC build fixes the problems with erroneous GCXP being given for Chef items, and generally lower-than-2:1 Chef XP being given for various food items? I won't be able to check this myself for a few days because I am on the road. If this isn't so, then all the changes aren't on Test yet. You have to fix those things.

I'd like to know about current stocks of food as well. I don't want to waste time and resources if I'm gonna have to throw it all away.

Karquille - anything you listed on the Test Center threads have been sent on. If you have others, please list it in the In Test thread...

Lochar - Soon. We are working on it now and hope to have that process ready soon. SirVimes does have access to materials on Test now so he can provide some materials.

BisonJelly - Your current stocks of food should be fine, though its something we should check on test just to make sure. Im almost positive those items wont be jeapordized.

In its current state these items are broke. Chefs right now half of us have closed shop because we dont want to rip people off by selling them stuff thats going to be ruined. We are in limbo because we have no idea if its going to be fixed or if this publish is going to be pushed through tomorow morning. Many are currently making nothing. Our profession is stopped. We've known this since Thursday and I find it rather discouraging that you have to check on test to make sure and therefore obviously arent aware that many chefs have been out of business for 4 days now. Its all posted on the chef forum. I would think that since is the "chef revamp" that you guys would read on the "chef forum" about whats going on.I guess the discussion we've had on this board about the chef changes amounted to exactly nothing since its not being read as its not in the "test" thread. Great lets go talk about it on the test forum where a ton of people who dont know anything about chefing can talk about how they feel it should work. You have people over there posting that dont know how to make food now and they arent gonna know later and they are "correcting" chefs. Too much bogus static over there. If you want to know what *chefs* think, you should be reading on the *chef* forum.

TH you better read the posts in the Chef forum. According to TC chefs pre-patch food is coming out of crates with only one use.

Also, when asked about changes to the amount of buffing that occurs, particulary in mind food/drink, SirVimes keeps mentioning that when the new combat system goes in the differences will be negligible.

Is this a true statement, and if so why are the changes being made prior to the combat system? this would in effect kill our business during the time period between publishes.

Along the same lines regarding the combat changes, and references to our current mind buffs being of marginal use, how does this effect some of our revamped recipes that buff the same things?Accarragm, Garrmorl, Vasarian Brandy, and a handful of other buffs add to the HAM bars or secondary/tertiary stats. Will these have diminished value with the combat changes just as we are being told many of the current favorites (Fishak, Pate, etc) will?

I just don't want to get revamped, become comfortable with the new foods/drinks, and then have the floor drop out because of combat changes.

My immediate concern is regarding pre-patch foods though. Along with Nikii and many others, I have pretty much halted my Chef business. I'm not wanting my customers to spend their credits on what may be a broken and worthless item.

I dont know if any food is going to last after the patch.

I just bought a crate of k-18 rations off of the bazzar this morning and when i went to retreive the item it said that it no longer existed and refunded my money.

Just what i noticed
