What is an example of a biological component?

And if a creature food is meat then why not just say 'meat'?

Because it also includes, I believe, hideand eggs...besically, everything but the bone.

Biological components are made by BEs. Currently, the most commonly used are the micro nutrients which enhance duration. After the patch, there will be 12 and there's some other threads on it which go into detail. They'll be more effective. They are "optional", however, so you don't need to use them if you choose not to.
