Dear Chefs,
Best of luck with the re-design. As a bio-engineer, I understand the feeling of frustration tempered by hope that many of you have gone through for the past few months. Knowing that your profession isn't what it should be, hanging on and working toward master in the hope that the developers will come through and make things right. Expect a little bit of a see-saw. With the BE re-design of the cloning system, there were bugs and elements in it that made it too powerful, so the devs came back a few weeks later and tuned things down. If you see a food that seems too powerful, it probably is.
In my life sciences career, I have worked primarily in genetics/cloning and intelligent materials. With milk and mollusk becoming more available (still too scarce, in my opinion), my activities (and I assume the activities of other BEs) will expand to include synthetic food additives. If any chefs on Kettemoor would like to experiment with the various food tissues available, /tell or e-mail me in-galaxy. Most bio-engineers on other galaxies would be interested in this new facet of science as well. Don't be shy.

I would LOVE to see what you can come up with for the new BE additives. As a chef, my first and pretty much only priority is making the BEST foods. Yes I make money as well, but I really have no way to spend it. So in the end the money I make is spent trying to sustain my food prodution, my only true monetary apsipration is trying to afford enough tapes to get to +20 experimentation. It looks like with the coming revamp,to continue to try to make the best foods I'll need help. Specifically, I'll need help from a BE. I hope to see how this all works out in the end
