Couple of caveats before I get into the numbers. After much experimentation I decided that charging by the use isn't a good model. With all the possible options, you could make a "widget food" [6 use, 25 filling, +300 for 30m] pretty much work just like a [12 use, 15 filling, +50 for 30m] - it buffs you approximately for +1200 for 30 minutes on a full stomach. Varying customers have different needs, so rather than have an equation to determine the cost for each food, I just decided the stack costs X and then fudge the numbers depending if the quality turned out good (or I crit failed on experimenting). Prices are based on small glasses, use whatever multiplier you want for larger containers.
The numbers also reflect the needs and demand of TestCenter. While I am the Master Chef in one of the biggest commerce cities in the galaxy, these numbers may very well be low compared to what you can get on your live servers. This chart is merely meant as a starting point for many of you who have no idea where to start.
I'm going to rank them in order of popularity (number of stacks sold, not profit), with the resource needs included, so you can start stockpiling resources for the recipes which I think will be the top sellers. This list will only include the top 20 since most of the foods are so niche I haven't been able to determine a good price for them. This should hopefully give you an idea for which foods are likely to be most popular and where to price them until you get a feel for your own supply/demand.
NOTE : This is a living document, and I plan on updating this as time goes on so we have a general price guide for the whole profession. I've only had a week and a half of data to work on this, I'm sure there are still some uneducated TC players who don't know the full menu :-)

Final Tips and Thoughts:
Get crytsalline gemstone, you need it for the casks and it'll also work in glasses. I always run out of Fruit and Berries, make sure you stockpile a lot of them. Beans replaced tubers as my vegtable of choice. It's the main ingredient for Ormachek the best seller, and works in many other recipes as well (I happen to have beans at high quality).
I can't believe Ormachek is selling more stacks than Vasarian Brandy. I've had to increase the price twice on Ormachek and I still can't keep it stocked. This price may need to go up again. It was my first crated food.
The top 6 foods are currently way and above more popular than the other 14 on the list right now.
I'm busy overstocking for our big Mall celebration this weekend (Feb 8th, Sunday 11:00 PM Eastern, Dragon's Call, Tatooine - TestCenter), so these numbers may change by monday :-)

Hi Saark5, I've read in some places that you just need gemstone, but you've specified crystalline gemstone. Will we be able to use amorphous gemstone to make containers with?
Thanks, Nefer.

According to this its crystalline gemstone for the casks, and any kind of gemstone for the glasses, so you can make both small and large glasses with your amorphous gemstone.

Thanks dude...
lol... I'd been looking at that, but never saw that crystalline was actually defined for the casks... just saw "gemstone" for the glasses and wondered what sort.
Cheers!
