Where do I find milk?!?!?!?!? I like the variety cooking provides me, but I don't like how impossible some resources are to get, ie. milk. I got 3 milk off of a Jawa once...woohooo.

I bought 100 units of milk off the Bazaar a couple days ago. The going rate? a whole 300 credits.

Whoa, someone hasn't been checking the demand, you could makea killer profiton that... Was it a stack of 100, or a bunch of sub-20 stacks? BE's need (I think) at least 25 of the same type to make any of their tissues. For chef foods, you'll need at least 10.

I paid 2 million for 300 units. Lowca's horribly inflated though.

You're right, Sci, BEs need at least a stack of 25 to make one taming tissue. And then they could always fail on the assembly (happened to me, I was NOT happy). Course, the Tailor who pays out the butt for the BE tissue could fail in the conversion... which I guess would be worse, since BEs sell higher to Tailors for the tissues than BEs have to pay for the milk.

Right now milk is a very rare loot drop that's not worth trying to gather. After the next publish, though, milk will be an item scouts can gather from live animals.

So my options are pay out the rear at a bazaar or keep looking for that rare loot drop until Pub7 which will prolly be in late Feb....great

Well, there's not really much worth making with milk at present, so I wouldn't be too broken up. Paying an exorbitant amount for milk right now would just leave you disappointed when you saw the food result.
After the patch, that will change of course...but then milk will be plentiful.
And, according to recent posts, the patch looks about 2 weeks out. The revamp started more than a week ago, which added to that estimate means near a month of testing.... seems about right if you look at how they have handled updatees in the past. I doubt they will wait til the end of Feb.

I almost crapped my drawers when I saw that milk for so cheap. It was a single stack of 100 units.
I just used it to make some foods requiring it...
