I was screwin' around with a BE last night (get your mind out of the gutter).

And made some Bivoli Tempari with a 1508 second duration boost. Almost 1/2 an hour.

The second one I made came out with 1522 second duration boost.

I used a BE comp "Broad Spectrum Nutrients". +68% duration boost.

I know Potillian did this before and said he thought it might have been capped at 22 minutes.

The only thing I noticed was that I couldnt' really experiment on the flavor with significant results. 1 second maybe.

Its still not very practicle as the BE comp requires fish to make which can be difficult to find, not as bad as milk but not good.

FYI

On the topic of BE additives... I'vetried outSystemic Cognitive Reformats myself. With decent ingredients, the Reformat had 75% experimental effectiveness. When added to pastebread, this came out to +100 mind, +50 focus, +50 will, no health penalties. I suspect Enhanced Bio-Strength and Refined Alipedene reach similar numbers.

Saitek, do you know what % experimental effectiveness those nutrients were to get you a 68% duration bonus?

but the next question is, can a BE mass produce these and sell them to chefs while they make a profit and still be affordable and worth the money for us to incorporate into our recipes. seafood is hard to get...

To answer the above question, not likely. Messing around with a guildie Master BE I got a few samples made that I am going to actually use in making some bivoli.

He made me a few of the lesser duration extenders which came to boost it by 30%. He also made me the master level mind buff at the expense of health components which came out to boost mind by 94.

To make the duration, it required 20 organic/15 flora food/15 creature food. To make the master lvl mind buffer, it requires 25 avian meat/25 wild meat/25 domesticated meat/20 orgainc. That is a ton of resources for 1 component. I didn't have the best quality of each resource for the BE componentsso results will vary. This was just to satisfy my what if I used XXXX BE component, what would it do and what would it cost.

I don't really think there is an affordable way for BE's to sell this in mass quantities. I also don't have the time to go out and collect these resources in mass quantities. Between resource surveying, harvestor runs and keeping thevendor stocked, the last thing I want to do is spend my life hunting up meat.

All said and done, if after I test this using some good and some average components, and it gives a decent/significant boost, I will offer this up to special customers or greatly increase my per crate cost if using BE components. I plan on testing when I get home from work tonight.

Lately everyone I've had asking for Bivoli is looking for a mind heal, not a mind boost so not only is the time boost hard to make economically, but it could actually hurt the bivoli if there was a longer interval between eating. How does the BE comps affect filling? Any tests?
