Thread: Prime Spots for Harvesters?
I'm rather new to crafting, so please excuse any ignorance on my part.
I just bought myself a veritable fleet of harvesters(2 heavy flora(wheat), 2 medium flora(corn), 2 medium water and one fusion). The problem is, I have no idea where to place them. Are there any areas that have consistently high concentrations of one resource? Are some planets better than others for some resources? If so, which would be the best for the resources I'm looking to harvest?
Again, I apologize for my ignorance, but I would greatly appreciate any and all help you can give me.
Yep...what they said...you have two options when planting harvesters:
1. Find the spots yourself (requires tools, time, and effort). Simply land on a planet, access the correct tool, and follow the waypoint. If no waypoint, walk around until one comes up while scanning (ie pressing the survey option or hotkey). Once you have a waypoint, follow it to the highest concentration and, if happy, plant the harvester.
2. Wander around and find "farms" where others have planted the same type of harvester. Survey to find out what type of resource is there and if happy, plant harvesters.
There are areas, but they are always changing and they are different from server to server. So I could tell you some spots on my server but they will change within a day or two.
Get your hands on survey devices (from any artisan) and just go hunting. Only way to do it.
