i'm the only chef i know of at new alder on the lowca server. any of you from lowca may have heard of our big party we had at our new cantina. at the party, i played bartender and gave out drinks.

i realized that as the night went on, people love to roleplay with the bartender. so i did it back. never much of a roleplayer (but always a writer), i didn't really know what to do at first, but as the night went on, i got more and more into character, joking with the patrons, mixing drinks, and basically having a good time.

it was the best time i've had in SWG in a long time.

this event has inspired in me the want to roleplay more as a bartender/chef. it was incredibly fun, and to any of you who havn't tried it, i would reccomend it. play around a have a good time.

any of you, my fellow chef-board readers, roleplay much? i'd love to hear about your experiences or what you thought about it.

i'm sorry i'm not posting about how to grind to master......but i could ask it if you guys really miss those posts...

I used to when I first started and it was fun. Now though I am so busy filling orders, running harvestors, checking factories that I dont have a lot of time to, nor do I have the food or drinks. I sell out of most everything very quickly and wouldnt have anything extra anyways.

A few days ago I left Coriellia to go stock my other vendor on Tatooine, I had 5 crates of sunburn, 4 Bivoli, and a couple BoH crates, by the time I got to Tatooine all I had left was a Bivoli crate. Most of my stuff sells before I can get it out of the factory. So its hard to stay stocked and show up to cantina with stuff anyways.

It is indeed a lot of fun. I was very uncomfortable about it the first time not knowing what all to say and Im kinda shy (I swear I am). But once I did it a few times, it came a lot easier to me and was lots of fun.

I have RP'd from day one and have a blast. I don't do it as much anymore becuase doing harvester runs, etc is time consuming. I do have the most famous wiener (meatlump) on Chilastra *wink*

Roleplaying is a lot of fun...I used to do it a lot in EQ...so I figured it would translate well to SWG. In the short term is does...but with most of my time spent hunting resources, crafting, maintaining vendors, and working sales...I have very little time to actually roleplay anything besides a businessman.

LOL Brullig!

Yeah I love to roleplay, but I'm so busy looking for resources to buy, running to harvesters, surveying new stuff, answering customer inquiries, sorting sales emails, and keeping four factories running, that I never have time anymore. I miss it. I think I need to raise my prices and hope sales slow down.

I try to roleplay chef, but try runninga 80 person guild, city, AND running 4-6 factories round the clock... I think im about to rip my brain out and shove it into the cpu to see if it helps... if not at least i'd be dead and wouldn't worry anymore
