Thread: A Peace Offering
Opps I hit send too soon on that last post.
Yesterday there was athread in this forum regarding a issue between the Squad Leader Correspondent and TH. Emotions are runningwhitehot on the SL forumnow and it spilled over here. I'm not here to bringthe issueup again, but rather toextend the olive branch and hopefully restore friendly relations.
Some Chefs took offense, or at least it seems that way, partly because a SL issue was being posted in the Chef forum. Some also felt that thethread and the SLswerenot recognizing that the Chef profession has also been ignored.
I am sorry we imposed our problems on the Chef forum. I think the intent of posting here, althoughI didn't start the thread, was because Chefis a professionthat needs help just as much, if not more, thanSL and that you all might like to see what was going on behind the scenes with fellow ignored profession. I don't think we intended to be condsending. If some feel that we were I apologize.
I am speaking only for myself, but I imagine many SLs would share my sentiment.
I wish all you luck in your effort to improve the Chef profession.
We don't need that much help.
Our main bugs are pretty much fixed, and we're going to get something cool soon, although we don't know what it is 
We are rarely given attention by the dev's, but it's not like chef is in trouble. I'd say SL is in way more need of attention then us.
Thanks for the note though. Allways good to know someone cares about what is being said.
If you are talking about the thread that was locked, I don't see where an olive branch is needed. It was really just a heated discussion between myself and a SL board member. In my opinion it ended quite peaceably even if it did heat up in the middle. That's about as heated as it got in that thread from what I saw and that wasn't that bad. Heck, my issue was with someone saying it was TH's fault and that SOE should fire him. The person I was debating with didn't even believe that even though I interpretted that he didbecause it seemed that he was siding with the original poster who was calling for TH's resignation/firing(Well calling TH an example of a bad SOE rep... the SL boards themselves had a thread about asking for the resignation)
If you need an olive branch though... *bakes an olive branch shaped cake*
