Hey all,

I just wanted to make a short point. I was flicking through other forums and it is amazing on how much other professions are out of the loop on chef goods. Here is an example..... http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=teras_kasi_artist&message.id=74951&jump=true

This guy thought Burnout Sauce was a BE item. While I didn't bash him, I tried to lay out an informative post so they know what it does and what OTHER stuff we offer. Does anyone else do this type of thing? Is it percieved well? I mean it will be good on the bottom line eventually so maybee it is something we should do more often if we don't do it alot now.

Just a thought.

Well, to give Eario some credit in that thread, he might've meant is BE-enhanced Burnout sauce worth the extra money compared to non-enhanced. Although probably not...

I don't think there's anything wrong with spreading the info on food, as long as it doesn't come across as too strong of a "hard sell". And for non-chefs, I tend to point them to Vandessa's food chart, it's laid out a bit better for customers.

I try not to make my information sales driven, but more informative. Like you, alot of the people who see the chef tag ask me questions about what certain things do, or the people that only buy one thing because there friend or guild does it.
