can't find the link right now but there was a great websitethat i thought was in one of hte FAQ's that had an embedded excel spreadsheet that you could download that showed exactly what each food required & the effects& so on and so forth - one of the ohter sheets had a list of the BE additives and their effects - but, you can get them to add to various effects to make them more desirable - use the powerones where potency is the biggest requirement (say, synthsteak) and others that would reduce the filling to make them easier to stack (like vercupti) and others would add to the duration which makes the economics of buying them more attractive, especially with some speciality ones like travel biscuits.
good luck, it's a really fun crafting prof

If you look at the description of the tissue, it should say something like "Nutrition: 85". This means that the tissue gives an 85% bonus to the Nutrition of the food (the buff size). Other tissues will have "Flavor: xx", "Filling: xx", and "Quantity: xx".
So that tells you what the tissue effects, but it doesn't tell you what "size" the tissue is. For each of the four categories of effect, there are three size categories: light, medium, and heavy.
At the bottom of the "Food chart (for chefs)" linked to in the stick (and in the FAQ) is a listing of all the BE tissues sorted by size. The light tissues can only be used in a light additive, medium tissues in a medium additive, and heavy tissues in a heavy additive.
There's also the occasional BE who take up chef and provide tissues already rolled into an additive. These will be named just "Light/Medium/Heavy additive", but will have the bonus effect in the item description.
In general, use the largest additive a food can take (medium for Brandy, heavy for canape, light for synthsteak). And the best bang-for-your-buck is almost always gotten with a Nutrition tissue: Micronutrient Supplement (light tissue), Broad Spectrum Nutrient (medium tissue), or Intellegent Nanonutrient (heavy tissue).

Up front let me say thanks for any and all replies.
In the FAQ section I found alot of information that is great for a new chef but still got a problem with the bioi stuff, when i went to a vendor I found that there is apparently a large assortment of stuff they make that can help a chef but the description doesnt tell me what each does. Can sombody point me to information so I can find out what is best to use in my brandy, canape and synthsteak please?
Thanks, Keffer
