Thread: WHERE IS MY CORELIAN FRIED ICE CREAM?

I don't know about you guys but i was under the impresion we were going to be getting more stuff and not have foods taken away .... where is fishak, coreallian fried ice cream, wedding cake, tatooine sunburns, among others? where is 1/4 of my menu? i'm sorry but this bites I am an avid roleplayer who boast of having a different menu each week if i wish and still keep it pretty original. I love giving away ice cream i carry a crate around just for this purpose... why is it that SOE feels they have to take things away in order to give us others? I'm very disapointed with the new changes I expected to get more not have my shematics taken away, although i do admit there are some awesome changes i also want my menu back they way it was, diverse and full of diferent foods that i don't have to rename.
most of you will say to look at the bright side but i think this is lame... why put up with soe for taking 1/4 of our menu away specially some of the most popular items? I really hope they introduce them again because the game is not the same to me a Master chef of 5 months with out it.

Im preaty sure they are planing on adding in other foods, including the ones that where removed, when they have things for the food to do, and time to playtest balance more foods. Don't hold me too that, but I remeber when this movement got started the dev said some foods whould be taken out.

well thanks for your reply but i'm sorry you do not implement a "revamp" that is incomplete the deves are incompetent and i'm having a very hard time believing they went to college. Pshycology 101 will let you know you do not take things away from people with out them being angry about it. I HATE SOE AND THEIR LAME CHANGES. I am 90% dependent of other proffessions now not to mention it costs me a fortune in credits to make the best possible item and i'm sorry but no one wants to pay 100k credits for a crate of food that is just ridiculus. They took a perfectly good proffession and turned it into something lame, is not even fun roleplaying with it anymore which was the reson why i have it in the first place.

I announced months ago that we would be loosing some recipes temporarily and we would get them back in upcoming patches.

Thank you! I was not aware of this and I am happy to hear that we will get all of our recepies back. I'll stop whining now since that was the one thing that peved me but if I don't then I'll be really ticked off and come back and whine some more lol

Basically, he told is that he would not have the time to write new formulas for all 109 food.
And one of my first comments on the patch was, "Where is the wedding cake?" He should have it back soon...that is the one that everybody misses.

Are there still any plans to bring the30 or so foods and drinks back that were deleted way back in publish 6? There are some which had unique designs... You can't find the old Bivoli design anymore either.

The old designs are still in the game in Starports and other NPC buildings. Though I doubt they'll be bringing them back anytime soon or at all.
Not that I wouldn't like that.
I think its really weird that they changed the picture of Ice Blaster to a unique look, and currently we can't make any other drinks with that look. Theres also the old Aludium pu36 bottle look.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Just be happy we got the first revamp and think of those poor neglected Smugglers and Squad Leaders.

Some of you guys need to read when the post was made by Inaky, back in February. LOL The revamp was new then... I am confused by Ice Blaster. When did it get the new design, the red double bottle?

Ice blaster got its new look at the first day of the chef revamp. Since we couldn't make it anymore it wasn't really seen by many. Luckily I had a couple on display in my PAs cantina.

It is sad. I remember seeing many of the old foods and drinks, but I didn't bother keeping many of them at the time. Now I collect them for my Kitchen Museum. I have a case of Ice Blaster left. I think it has a beautiful design. I guess it was a mistake that they redesigned a drink that was discontinued. On an interesting note, the dummy Tatooine Sunburns still exist (the ones in the npc cantinas), I wonder if the redesigned dummy drink is what caused all the old Tatooine sunburns to change to that design. Also, the devs need to fix many of the dummy drinks. They have various names like Eye Blaster, etc, but there are many duplicate drink bios for drinks with different names! For example, Bantha Blaster and Bantha Blood Fizz have the same bio, and some of then I think three differently named drinks have the same bio description!
