Oh yee wonderful creators of buff food/drink products /bow

I have a number of bugged stacks as do others, and I am ware of the fix (drop in your house yada yada), which only works until you die or get incapped, or take a shuttle, then your back to square one again.

My question is this.

Are new stacks still bugged? If I buy new stacks tonight when I get home, do new ones work, or am I just adding more bugged stacks to my inventory??

I have encountered problems with food made prior to the large patch that went in last weekend. I haven't had one complaint about any of thenew foods thatI've been making. Not certain if I'm just lucky or if they've fixed this bug.

I have made food/drink since the patch and it gets bugged Had a stack of ormachek that I started on Tuesday night and Wednesday night when I logged in, I could not eat the remaining portions *sigh*

Question: if I have a stack of say sunburns and I drop then and pick up in my house THEN I split them into singles (I hope its possible)would they be useable from then on (or till bug is fixed)?

Unfortunately, you cannot split stacks of food/drink at this time.

Someone please post the workarounds? Do I have to go all the way back to Naboo to my house to drop all my food and drink (just bought 30k worth) only to go back hunting get incapped and have to go home again? Can this stuff be placed in a bank or traded with another player for a temp. fix?

Anyone know if the devs have acknowledged this problem or is this like the disappearing weapons from vendors where they insisted that they could not "recreate the problem" which was a ton of crap because it takes about 6 seconds to recreate?

I hope this is being addressed because with food I can actually WEAR the composite armor I bought.

Gah! It's that constant a problem? That's not gonna help us chefs sell food, is it? (Understatement of the year, I guess.)

I'll post the "drop in your house" fix as a possibility near my vendor somewhere. Silly bugs!

Ases is correct. You drop the broken stack on a floor somewhere. You target the stack and type in "/eat", then you pick it up and it's fixed whether you had room to actually eat one or not. There is no other workaround that I have seen yet that consistently works for everyone. This is a VERY aggravating bug and I have not yet heard if they acknowledge it or not.

You know what's really unfair? Pets eat broken stacks just fine.

A quick fix that someone found, but I haven't tested myself is to drop it in your house and try to eat some of it (doesn't matter if you actually do or you're too full), then pick it back up and it should work fine from there.

What use do i have with food that lasts a few minutes if i have to go to my house first? I'm getting sick and tired of all these "small" bugs..Another waste of credits..And they keep telling be nice and constructive..My ass!

Yeah, this has been killer for business... I'm down like 90% in sales per a day right now. The only thing that sells consistently right now are my crates of pet foods.

See these are the types of bugs that I cant stand. And I am not a Chef, but if I were I would stop playing until it was fixed or my subscription ran out. The little bugs may seem like a minor annoyance that you can just laugh off, but why is this broken? It hasnt always been broken. They changed something and now it is broken. Just unchange whatever the **edit** you changed until you figure it out. Is it THAT hard? No. They just dont give a **edit**. These are the reasons I want to quit this game.

I am a Bounty Hunter. To take away stackability of food for a Chef was similar to taking away the NPC Droid vendors needed for BH missions. At first it was too costly to buy droid from DE even if you could find one, but the Inv tree branch was borked anyway.

But the food thing is worse! You work your way up to Master Chef and now you cant sell anything! It would be like taking away the ability to shoot all guns for a BH or making it so that after 1 shot your refire delay is 3 minutes! And the fact that SOE has not acknowledge this problem...

Never again will I sign up for a 6 month subscription to a game at launch. I really thought that Sony, with all their money and resources, would actually put some effort into this game. Instead they are making Creature Mount Demos and not fixing anything in the game. F SOE.
