Do any spices have good buffs to the constitution? If so, what are the average bonuses and the time they last. Also, does all spice have the same amount of downtime or does the type of spice determine the downtime?

Despite the fact that spices end up in the "food" category of the bazaar, they're not made by chefs. Smugglers craft spices, you might try checking some posts on their forum. I haven't dealt much with them, so I'm not sure what buffs are available, but I'm pretty sure they all have a 5 minute downtime. And I think the stat negatives are equal to or more than the inital buff. I remember seeing some comment that Muon Gold's downer puts your health at 1.
