Thread: Anyone else having problems with factory crates today?

I was just wondering if anyone else can get an item from a crate that was made before JTL went live. My Bespin port was crated and I tried to uncrate one and I couldn't.I tried some of my other crates of additives and brandy and other components and it seems that anything that was made(most of my stuff was at least a month old) before JTL went live cannot be uncrated. However, I am able to use the additives in schematics and they seem to work fine.

Are you getting an email from "system" along the lines of "this item is no longer in the game"? Any error reported in your system messages?
The only things I can think of off the top of my head is to check your inventory space, or maybe try refreshing your inventory display (closing/reopening or toggling the "change view" button).

Um...I wasn't getting any message...I'd click on get item from crate and nothing would happen. If I make a schematic and use an item from the crate it uses it though. I was having a similar problem with a maintenance droid now that i think about it....I was trying to update my structure list and nothing would happen. I don't know if its related or not....maybe something is wrong with the radial menu. I just got back from class so I'll log back on and test some stuff out.

Ok, so I pulled some crates off my vendor and i CAN get items from the crate. The crates I cannot remove items from were in storage in a factory until today when I needed the factory so I pulled them out of the factory and into my inventory. These crates that are in my inventory can be split, examined, dropped and destroyed. I just cannot get an item from the crate. Any ideas on what the problem might be? Since most of the crates were alcohol and additives and can still be used in schematics if I cant get items from the crate it doesnt really matter and its not that big of a deal. If it can't be fixed I'm only out a few crates of bespin port, brandy and droid batteries(I just recently, like within the past week, moved my shop so the items and the factory haven't been sitting for more then a week)
Edit: Scratch that part about the droid batteries...only the food crates were effected, the droid batteries come out of the crate fine.
