if I made factory runs of soypro and ate them would I still get exp? It is proving to be difficult to get chef exp for the force crafting grind. (maybe I will look in the force threads also)

No, you only get usage xp for hand-crafted items.

I have achieved Novice Chef about a week ago...

I have spent an entire week making Air Cake only to get one-third of the required exp for only one box!

Isthere anything I can do to speed up the grinding process? What can be made faster to gain exp faster? any foods that are faster to grind with?

Any and All suggestions are welcome.....

It will take me all year to get Chef this way!!! lol

Well, Air Cake is a bad choice because it uses subcomponents that grant you Artisan xp.

At Novice, the speediest progress is by making Soypro without doing practice mode, then eating the final result (this gives you 50% more in usage xp and does not add anything to your stomach).

There's also a grinding section in the FAQ linked to in the "Read This" sticky.
