Lo all.

Yesterday i made my first run of canape's. My canape is +722 11m36, 40fil and 6 uses.

I've talked to a buddy chef (Thee Master Higgins) and he gave me some good advices about all chef stuff.

I personaly prefer having a good strenght/duration canape but some peeps prefer to have a low filling on that too.

I was doing the canape with INN's +117, fruit OQ7xx PE9xx and berries OQ8xx PE9xx and i'm only a +1 chef for now.

I tryed for about 2h and never but never i manage to lower the filling. The mim i manage to do was 36.

I must say that i'm happy with my canape, im just asking this cos this is still in my head

So why is this happening then? In that 2h i only manage to have a amazing sucess too.

Cheers

Imo low filling on canape is something people are trained to look for but don't know why ( most of the time ) . Almost no one I know eats 3 at one time, even in PvP 3 canape will only help vrs large bleeds or poisons. Most people should want the low fill so they can eat other types as well . If you're just going to eat one because your mind is getting low in PvE combat then longer duration and high buff are more important then fill. By try explaining that to someone who "knows everything" about food

LOL Higgins Yes he told me that and i rather have my Canape with good strenght and high filling than to have lower strenght and lower filling.

I asked this just to know how would i lower the filling, i mean what stats in resources, i know now that is OQ/DR. I was not doubting Higgins

Higgins got a lot of patience to me ingame Thank you mate.

And thanks to you all guys

Considering how much of a pain Canape is to make(compared to almost every other food at least), I don't mind people not knowing about a version that may be a little better to them.

Canape to me is one of the odd foods that it really depends on what you want to use it for before you can know what stats work out best for you. In many cases 350ish 55+ minute brandy would be better for everyone that uses it, because the additional buff is next to useless. Its a state of mind that people always look at the max dmg or the max buff to determine if something is good or not. Only the experienced players look at average dmg most of the time.

I enjoyed working with a few people to make some custom foods. Its such a pain though to make custom orders. I still make them for friends, but many of them are not pvpers and only the hardcore pvpers are going to ask for very odd foods with certain stats.
