I dont mean what is cheapest and requires the fewest resources. I want to know what gives the fastest xp. any links to other threads about this would help.

Craft random stuff until you get Engineering one. Then craft whatever requires metal and/or chemical from that line (easiest to get) till engineering 2, then engineering 3. And at engineering 3 just craft wind power generators until domestic 4 and novice chef.
For novice chef all the info you need is in pages at the top of the forum.

You have a whole line of engineering you don't need for chef and because you recommended harvesters it means different types of resources too.
Wasted exp because you end upsurrendering theskills later anyway cause you don't need them.
Get yourself a BIG stack of fiberplast and a BIG stack of metal. Start grinding casual pants. With a good rythm going, or fast macro, you can hit novice chef in about 3 to 4 hours give or take. Now if your shooting for Master Artesian or AS/Arch/DE/WS as well yea go the harvester route.

Some of the Artisan foods are nice sellers in their own right, and you need the experimentation points from the Engineering line to reach full potential. Some are unique, not duplicated at higher buff levels by Chef foods.

uhhh, or instead of all that you could get it in under an hour...the grind from domestic arts 4 being the fastest. Once you get to Domestic Arts 4 start making large glasses. At 211 XP eachin crafting mode, you'll be novice chefin under 10 min with a good macro. Get a bit of gemstone (about 10k)before you start, they require 100 units each.
