I just read something about Bespin and I was wondering if +10 is the highest it will be effective. I made some +11 or +12 tonight, but if the extra couple points is just fluff, I'll throw the extra points into quantity and stretch out a stack.

Bespin Port is one of those "hidden and random" bonuses where it's tough to tell if it's having any effect at all.
I've always assumed it works the same way as the Force experimentation or Research center bonuses: a flat increase to your success rate odds, and higher is better (although how much higher is how much better is definitely something that's vague).
The only reason I could think of people saying Bespin is capped is if they think it grants additional experimentation points (which it doesn't). So +10 experimentation would be another point, and +11 is still only one more point, so why bother. Since Bespin doesn't work like that, that argument doesn't hold any water. /shrug

all i can say to you is, i never use port or cake in the 1st crafting stage, if i dont get an amazing the 1st time i simply destroy the object.
if i do get an amaizing i then use port & cake for the remaining points, i have found that i get an amaizing maybe 10% of the time from the 1st crafting stage, & maybe 20% chance of amaizing form the 2nd crafting stage.
of course i have no data for this, i live in crafting center city & have +25 assembly on my clothes, but port + cake seem to have a huge difference on my success rate ![]()
