I have 2 simple questions :-)

What are shellfish used for , anything specific?i.e music enhancements for clothing etc.

What stats are important?

I checked the FAQ before writing this and it didnt answer any questions except - To gather shellfish you need a shellfish harvestor.

At the moment...

Nothing in Chef requires Seafood or more specifically mullusks or crustaceans

I think BEs are the only profession that can use them

Might be for petstims or a tailor tissue

I forget

Maybe if we get some new recipes we'd use them

But they would just fill the generic "meat" requirement for chefs

Mollusk (shellfish) is a component in BE tissues called mimetic circuity. These can then be used in reinforced fiber panels to make clothing that has a bonus for cover. I believe that OQ, PE and Flavor are the important stats.

Why don't we get to use shellfish and eggs? People keep asking me as a Chef if I need eggs, and it feels weird to tell them "no I have no recipes that use eggs"

thanks guys, and as far as why you don't get to use eggs and mollusks? Who knows? I'm still wondering why rangers can forage a wedding cake (even if its too big to fit in a backpack)

Omelette's... duh! Actually, when I had my scout skills, I was on the other end of the very same question. It does seem weird. Do the devs add new recipes every once in a while?

Well, we can use them in any slots requiring just "meat", but that's about it. As for why we don't require them in any recipes....look at it this way: eggs and shellfish are about 5x as hard to gather a large stack as milk. Do you want that much trouble?

Exactly! There is no way in heck I'd want to attempt to gather enough eggs or crustacean meat for a full factory run of something.

Consider this a very nice gift to chef's that they don't need such an annoying resource.
