Thread: Does Serial numbers on Casks matter?

I've heard both that it does and doesn't.
I'd like a final answer, so I can begin regretting all the hours I've spent looking for resources to do a full run.

The name doesnt matter either. You can call one crate of Casks "Cask"...and the other crate of casks "Raymond Luxury Yacht" and they will both work for any drink schematic

If you actually looks on the schematic made with any casks it has a little square, and no serial number. So, not its not run specfic.

I usually make full runs of casks, just because its easier to handle

Very true, but I understand that if you do the latter it actually looks for a cask labelled "Throat Warbler Mangrove."
