For me it doesn't really matter what stats the resources have as long as there are a couple of high ones in there. In brandy, if the flavor is real low in my resources, then I know what I have to use my experimentation points on. Same with any other. I have no plan when crafting other than to look into my resource factory and grab whatever looks better than the others. I tend to get the highest PE resources all around and then that is one stat I don't have to worry about. I can experiment on duration or filling at this point. Really depends on which food or drink I am crafting.

I have adapted a Chef spreadsheet to incorporate a database of my resources. So when I'm planning a recipe, I search for all the resources that match what I need, plug a few in and see how the numbers work out.
It's able to record recipes too, so I save the best.

i'm kinda curious how other chefs combine their resources when making foods. do you stack high resource stats for one final product stat? or do you combine resources with, for example brandy, high dr and oq berries and high fl and pe fruit to make a more balanced product? i hope this question makes sense, cuz i re-read it and it doesn't quite make sense to me, but i can't think of any other way to word it. when i do i'lledit this message for clarity.
Thanks
