when you hand craft food you obviously get xp, and you also get xp for when that food is consumed. though you dont get xp for making factory crated foods do you get xp if those foods are consumed?

I don't think you get usage xp from factory made items.

Though i could be wrong.

I haven't tested all the possible combinations, but I can say that you do not get usage xp when eating your own factory-made food. You do get usage xp when eating your own hand-made food. I don't think you get usage xp if someone else eats your factory-made food, although I base that solely on the fact that it took me 12 months to cap my food crafting xp. Even with the flakeyness of usage xp, that looks more like the gain solely from the occasional hand-made stack (for my own use or bazaar sales) or throwing a bad experiment away in practice mode.

So (in case this is what you were really asking ), you can't do a factory run of soypro, then eat it all for 40k xp.
