Hello!

As a new chef, I'm just curious what Bivoli usually sells for, as well as what the stats generally top out at? I'm currently making 2 use 24.08power, 16m duration, and I plan to price it at 95K. Am I shafting people, or am I getting shafted?

Its really hard to do pricing with server differences in economy. I would shop around other Chefs in your galaxy to determine the going price.

As for the power of Bivoli, +25/3use is the best seller....although this is in no way necessary. +24 bivoli only buffs for about 10 points less....so instead of being buffed for 2550 you get a buff for 2540 or so. But +25 will always sell better than +24.

I sold +24 biv for a long time. It will sell if you price it right.

Thanks for the info to all!

I did notice the diff between buffs was about 7 points (24.8 vs. 24.08), so I'm not real concerned about that part, as long as I can keep it above 24. I got lucky, in that we just had some real good spawns kick off on Radiant for carnivore meat and tubers. As a 10-pointer, though, what I listed initially was as good as I could get it. My nutrient additive was 117 in power, which I was told is pretty good (but I have only seen the medium additive chart that says 87 is good).

Can you reproduce that? Vomit just posted a test he ran that showed no difference was granted by the decimal. I'm intrigued, though, because the only stats where the decimal was greater than .5 were in the +23 range, so I guess it's possible, if the equation is really illogical, that the decimal might make a difference at some points and not others....

Can you guys help me with my biv while we're on the subject. Using the best (almost) resources on my server, I can only hit 15 mins 30 seconds, 3 uses and +24.3.

Will doctors buy this if I price it low enough? With 10 points I can't hit higher even with 10 amazings.. with 12 pts I'd get +25 :/

Question are you putting points into the duration?

If so, don't, leave it. Thanks to the stomach changes +25/3 use is way more important than getting it over 15m.

If you aren't, well it will sell.

Can't help you myself - I'm just loitering on this forum because I miss being a Chef, and I'm trying to drum up the resolve to start rebuilding my organics stockpile and getting back into it.

I suggest you post the stats for the resources you are using, including the BE additives, and someone like Sciguyco will probably go the extra mile (like he usually does) and tell you precisely what you can expect to be getting from them

Shil:

Are you capping out your Nutrition experimentation at 24.3? And what's the bonus of the INN? You really need at a 116 or 117 additive or a 115 and pretty uber meat/veggies to hit +25.

If you're not capping Nutrition, like Higginsis said, ignore duration. With the 30m digestion rate we have now, the filling will be gone even with no flavor experimemtation. Focus on just Nutrition and Quantity.

You have to hit roughly 35% Qty to get that third use, which can be tough when you also need 900+ PE/OQ resources for the +25. Don't neglect the DR stat on your resources, using a resource 10 points lower in PE and 500 higher in DR can make things easier on the qty side without too much loss on Nutrition.

That being said, +24 / 3 use will sell. Although it has been my experience that +25 / 2 use sells slightly better than +24 / 3 use if I price them the same. I don't know if my customer base are of the "higher buff 4 teh win!!!1!!" crowd, or if they're just not noticing the lower uses (even though I include it in the item name).

I'll check to see if I can. It is possible my victim...er...I mean...the guy that was getting buffed...had BF that was affecting the outcome. I'll try it now, and let you know!

Looks like it was BF. Sorry about that. Just tried again with the 24.08, and got the same result I usually get with the 24.87.

I make +25/28/3/17m12s) at 150k a crate, sells quite well

+25.25/13.5mins/28fill/3count. 150k <more popular. (dont know why, duration sucks, but i sell more of this.)

+24.72/14.75mins/28fill/3count 150k
