I see tons of them on Radiant...in fact I just looted a +3 experimentation. Maybe everyone is hoarding them or giving them to the guild chef so you just don't see them on the auction block too often. I know that Radiant has way too many chefs all of a sudden so the demand for the tapes isobvious therefore you see moreauctions. Supply and demand.I bet pretty soon you can't swing a dead cat inyour tradeforums without hitting an auction for chef tapes.

On Sunrunner, about the only food-related CAs that ever make it to the forums are the mid-range experimentation/assembly attachments...Anything under +3 is usually just vendor bait (and nobody will ever know it exists)...Those ranging from +3 to +8 can usually be found on the forums (however, I haven't been paying attention to who is purchasing them; I'll be more attentive to who the winner is after reading this post)...Any tape above +9 is normally saved for a guild chef (or a well-known friend in the game)...I managed to acquire a +12 Food Assembly tape last night via a payment planwith a player who I've never met (he only knew about me through my ingame reputation at being trustworthy/dependable)...However, the two uber tapes I've acquired for my suit have cost me a few credits/items, but both cases were worth it...Brianna'Lyn Darkstar.

We're having the same issue on Scylla too at the moment. There is an inordinate amount of tapes flying abut and the price has come down well below the normal 1 mil+ per point. It seems that because there are more chefs, the availability of tapes has increased exponentially. I wonder if there's any correlation between # of people in a given profession/# of tapes looted in the way looting is coded.

i just saw a +14 on the boards, it sold, but there will be more, also i saw a few suits for sale, about 25mil but it was there, talk to halos

Hi,
I've noticed that Chef CAs are almost impossible to get these days on my server (Gorath). Those that are auctioned disappear almost immediately for buyout prices, so I assume some people are very desperate or those CAs are being bought up by already-12-pointers who don't want competition.
What's your experience on this on your servers? Is this a server phenomenon?

I've noticed it a bit on Intrepid as well. However, its my opinion that it takes money to make money.....and if you dont have the money to buy what you need to succeed (no rhyme intended)......
Personally, I dont buy out Food Experimenation or Assembly CA's, but just as any other auction, the highest bid gets the item.

I've noticed the exact opposite on Valcyn. They've been selling cheaper than ever since the spawns and drop rates were increased (at least I think they were). Recently a +8 hat closed without even getting its min of 4mil. It seems like these things drop in shifts. You'll see very few for a while and suddenly there will be several food exp auctions at once.
