Thread: Again, with the MED/FLORA HARVESTER POST
So, it's been two patch days (thirdgoing on now)since we got the message from Q that med/large flora havesters would be fixed ASAP.
Well? For are they? This isn't hard. Q, I REALLY hope this is in this patch.

ASAP to an SOE dev means
"After some alternate project"
So while we think it means "as soon as possible" he can say ASAP meaning his meaning and not actually lie. 
Seriously though, I hope they fix this. I hate not having any large flora farms.
Well, this is REALLY killing me.
If I wanted to be a Master Weaponsmith or Master Arch, or Master Armorer, I could harvest EVERYTHING on my own to grind out. Granted, it's painful....VERY painful. But I could do it when EVER I want.
As it stands. I could do one of 2 things:
1) Harvest my own, and due to only having 10 lots, I would average approx MAYBE 16K TOPS of flora.
or
2) Pay for it. And let me tell you. It's not pretty. Flora REALLY should be the cheapest of resources (and water) because they are supposed to be plentiful. Well, as anyone will let you. They are the MOST expensive resources in the galaxy. I see sometimes people selling 100 units of one flora on the bazaar for 3k creds!!!
This is REALLY gating the chef. And when there are MILLIONS of master weaponsmiths etc in game, there are VERY few MASTER CHEFS! Thats why people don't think we are needed. Because it's too **edit** hard to get to Master, and our stuff sucks! Other than TS. All I want first is the harvesters fixed.
Then you can work on factories, you can make the Chef food and drink better, etc.
We are supposed to be THE BEST buffers in this game. Yet we are left in the cold.

Well, let me make a comparison. When Everquest™ first came out shamans were NOWHERE near as powerfull as they are today. In some cases they were pretty broken. Today it's a different story.
I think given time the Chef class will be very useful and people will want to keep coming back for our food. We may not be there now, but we will get there eventually. Just stick it out, get to master and then be PROUD that you made it through the times when Chefs weren't the best they could be.
