I noticed last night that I was not able to use Hex to color the crates that come out of factories. Did they take this out ? I found this SO VALUABLE, especially with the ## of Components we have, to not have to examine the crates for the correct serial ##s when making schematics, all I had to do was look at the color heh.... Please tell me that they have not taken this away from us?

I'm sorry to say that they did indeed take this away, on purpose. There are several threads about it on the general discussion boards if you want to say something there.

I'm kinda bummed about this as well. I color coded my crates to correspond with the HAM bar or secondary stat they buffed to make it easier for costomers to find what they were looking for... you're right it was nice for keeping subcomponents straight as well.

Grrrrr

This is so annoying. Every little marketing thing helped to get sales out there and inform customers. Now i guess I'll just have to rename food, which I really dislike.

Fej, if you're looking for an alternative to coloring crates of components, change the name to, for example, Dough Run A, then B, then C, etc... That's what I do, and it keeps things very organized.

The way I've always labeled my components is by listing the experimentation values behind the name...."Protato (17/59/24)". Sorts well, and I know exactly what it is. I have yet to get two component runs with the same experimentation values, so that helps.

As to the schematics naming, I simply don't get it. You can still name house signs and waypoints, why not crafted items? I've got to think they will "fix" this.
