ok cheers, does the avail tab mean thats its been available FOR Xdays or Will be available for that abount of days?
and is there a time for the resourse shifts or is that ramdom?
I don't know about your question in regards to that site but I know that resource shifts are random. I remember one day I was speederbiking through Talus plucking eggs from lairs and from one minute to the next I was harvesting a different kind of egg. So, contrary to popular believe, a server reboot is NOT required for resource shifts.
-Nah-
A server reboot wasn't ever required, but you would only every be able to get 1 of a shift resources until the server rebooted. This is on creature resources. Harvestor resources, you couldn't sample until the next server reboot. I don't know if those 2 are still the case, I would expect not.

Definitely correct, Nah. I've been hand sampling merrily away, and suddenly the density is too low.
Another problem (that I haven't actually experienced in months) is right after a shift, you can survey a resource, but when you try to hand sample it, it's not there [density too low]for several minutes(apparantly available to the harvesters, though)

The "Available?" drop down on the search page means whether or not you want to check only for currently available resources. The "Avail" column on the results menas how many days it has been available for if it shows "+#", and how many days since it shifted out if it shows "-#".
Now this site is updated by users, so expect some lag on shifts in and out. This is especially true on flora, just because not as many people are surveying for it. Generally, anything over 8-10d is suspect.
