Thread: I have a problem with my Brandy :(

Hey all .. was wondering if anyone has run across this.. I made a crapload of +400 brandy with 35min duration .. split the crates for sale.. kept a crate for myself.. tried to get out a glass.. and it says This crate contains items no longer used in the game and should be deleted from your inventory I'm like OMG if one more thing could go wrong with this SILLY revamp.. I'm going to SCREAM .. I was wondering if anyone else has had this particular problem.. I'm just SICK thinking about ALL The resources and TIME and EFFORT I put into this silly batch of BRANDY that I could just PUKE !!!
Someone please help me

Just hang on to it. A similar thread was going on in the WS forums. A lot of them deleted their items and now they are pissed because the devs finally announced it was being worked on. Just remove it from your inventory don't delete it. Put it in the bank or a dark room in your house and just forget about it until you hear that crated items have been fixed.
Let me ask you a question. Did you happen to use alcohol that was made before the revamp?
When I first embarked on becoming a chef an older holochef gave me at least 50 crates of alcohol to work on, he said I would need it to grind at some point. All those sat in my house until I decided to do something with them. That alcohol is at least 5 months old. I can't access it because it's bugged.
Also, this isn't related to the Chef revamp specifically. It appears any crated item from earlier on in the game is currently bugged. The WSs are complaining about their pre-nerf crated FWG5's

yes.. I did use the alcohol from before.. only because it said I could use it now i'm having to delete 2 thousand units of Kylessian ale .. i'm so PO'd about that.. PLUS any alcohol that I made before the "revamp" .. I'm so frickin angry about all this I could scream.. they have not made anything better for chef's as far as I"m concerned.. only giving us more headaches

You have every right to be upset but I have to reiterate that this is not a chef-only bug. It's a bug affecting many items that were crated before the patch, it looks as if it's items that are not craftable any longer.

I made a couple of crates of Breath of Heavens the other night and had the same problem. I believe I used alcohol from after the revamp for sure. I sent a ticket in to the customer service reps. In a hour I was able to "get an item from the crate" but the uses on the each one was "1" even though I used LARGE glasses. I dont know if the CSR just took my serial # and put a temp fix on it or what but I went ahead and made one on the fly an a small glass and got 4 uses otta it. The next day I did get a response to my ticket saying they believe it has something to do with the crates that is the problem. Told me to just save everything I made and it will be fixed later. So I would just hold onto everything you made even alcohol crates.
