Thread: Time to Dream: Silly, yet potentially useful items!
Okay...first off, yes, I'm bored!
What do you think would be a potentially useful item, yet may be just too silly to implement into the game, or the SW theme? Here's whatI came up with
Stupid idea, yet: Creature Food.
--- Begin Scenario ---
Your walking along through the fields of Naboo, when a Tuskcat spawns right on you. Ahhh! You try to get away, knowing very well you don't have the capacity to take it on yourself, yet it aggros you.
"Ohh Crap!", you say. Death is imminent.
But wait! You pull out your trusty creature food, and throw some, in hopes that the creature will take the bait and leave you alone!
It does! WOOT! Your saved!
--- End Scenario ---
Some systematic things could be done such as:
- Animal can't attack you for15 seconds after it has been distracted (so you better run, and not sit around...lol)
- You can't begin an attack for25 seconds (to ensure you don't attack the creature when it's "feeding", and that your using it to run away)
- Experimentation on the food increases the "distraction rate"
(and yes, I don't expect these things to be added to the game, thus why the title has "dream" in it
)
So, what are your ideas? Try to make them sound usefulI guess ![]()
I have a comical idea. Poisoned food!
You could put an additive in your food, that would make it have the adverse effect of what it is supposed to. For example, poisoned bivoli would detract from your wound treatment skill. The real question is how to get your enemies to eat it heh.

"Bespin Casserole": A food (made with a lot of beans) that last for 5-10 minutes, and every 15-30s your character "lets one slip". Any NPCs or creatures you are in combat with at that time has a chance to be affected, fleeing away from your character (similar to the "threaten shot" effect), possibly with a state effect applied (dizzy orblind might be reasonable, especially if it was related to the "power" of the food).
As a drawback, eating this food immediately removes Mask Scent.

and if you use Heavy Food Additives you can make a version for use in pvp.....why should combat medics have all the fun?
