I've been working on my resource piles for three months and I've been watching the Flowers like a hawk, a hawk high on Ahrisa cookies so a very focussed hawk, but not nearly as focussed as I could have been had I had better flowers...

Ok running wild here but you get the idea. I've had my eyes on the flowers on Flurry for 3 months and a while ago I decided a certain type of flower though pretty mediocre would have to do for my needs. So off I went over to Rori with the first shuttle to stripmine the flowerfields bare.

Just now I decide to do a backcheck (swgcraft) to see if I missed anything and lo and behold the flowers I picked up a month ago turn out to be the best flowers Flurry has seen in a long time... Hmm ok a dry spell on the flower fields these things happen I know but I had a gnawing feeling that something was actually wrong so I spread out my search arcoss all the galaxies and I'm shocked into a painful silence... The best PE on a flower to have spawned and be recorded was 785... 785 on all servers for the last 4-5 months.

I was just wondering is this a capped stat on the resource or maybe there is a conspiracy to not report high grade flowers or perhaps it's a bug in the resource generation... If it's capped is there any way for me to find out which other resources are also capped and what they're capped at?

I think the cap on PE for flowers is 700. You probably noticed looking at swgcraft that there about 40 listed between 690 and 700, and only 3 (unverified) over 700. Based on that I see two possibilities, either the resource system allows for rare anomalies, or those three were misentered. Either way, it's probably not worth waiting for flowers with great PE.

A couple of months back Trokk from swgcraft put up a CSV file with some max and min stats for every resource type by server. Bear in mind some of these numbers could be misentered too. Here's the link: http://www.swgcraft.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8869 .

Here area few more caps from my observations: if it's 'wild' PE is capped at 700 and Flavor will be at least 300; if it's 'domesticated' Flavor is capped at 700 and PE will be at least 300; both Flavor and PE for herbivore meat are capped at 700.
