Which of these resources would yield a better brandy? Should I just be looking at PE 66.6% - OQ 33.3%? Is that the correct formula when looking for resources?

Berry 1: 874OQ 990PE 299FL 465DR
Berry 2: 982OQ 836PE 888FL 530PE

Well, you can try playing around with this stat calculator I put together (requires Excel):

Berry2 will allow a much better duration with only a small drop in buff size. Quantity and filling would be similar with either.

The 66% PE, 33% OQ focuses just on Nutrition. I like to get my duration up to at least 40m, 45m if possible (although that tends to stretch my 10 experimentation points a bit thin).

Edit (one more thought): I'm strongly in favor of encouraging people to just try making items to compare resources. Use a small glass, no additiveand whatever fruits you're planning on pairing the berries with and see what kind of results you get. The results from the addition ofa cask and additive are easy to figure out (multiply quanity by 3 for the cask, multiply the buff size by 1 + AdditiveBonus for the final buff), so don't bother wasting those components on your testing.
