Haven't yet made this, but folks asking for Melee Defense sooo...

To make Vegeparsine:

- With decent BE additive, how good can it get?

- Does quality of sub-component VEGHASH impact results? If so, is just Nutrition important?

- Does it stack? (looks like filling can be 20, so could eat up to 5???)

- Does it sell?

Thanks!

I'm not in game atm, but I'm pretty sure mine are +22. They are not a top seller, but I do sell 4-5 crates of it a week, so it is popular.

oh yeah ....don't use the BE Veghash...sell that stuff...crank out the non BE'd stuff for the Vege.

*sigh* I don't have the numbers on me...but I'll post again when I get the chance to check. I don't see many others posting about Vegeparsine, so hopefully someone else might post soon.

Excerpts from Chef FAQ:

Does experimenting on Sub-Components affect the final food?

"Nope. Prior to Publish 6 (the big chef revamp), component experimentation did make a difference (although this was small with low-level components). Now, most components aren't even experimentable (carbosyrup, alcohol, containers, etc) and those that are have their own effects, and do not pass that experimentation on to the final item. So your best bet for components is to use cheap, crap quality resources, saving your good stuff for the final item." - sciguyCo

"Does it stack?"

"Note: You cannot stack two foods that improve the same skill, even if you're trying to eat different types of food (Air Cake and Pikatta for +dodge, for example). If you try, you will get the message "You are already under the effect of this food". " - sciguyCo

"Does it sell?"

Mine doesn't seem to.

So using BE'd Veghash as a sub-component would NOT be a good idea?

Had this one priced in my head as rather expensive, as I didn't even consider making the Veghash component WITHOUT a Light Additive. This just got more cost-effective, and a way to rid myself of some crappy resources.

WIth a flling of just 20 or so, I'm going to anticipate this to sell rather well. What stats have you been able to hit?
