I made a schematic for brandy using a machine with about a 15 rating. If I make a schematic using a machine with about a 35 rating will it help the stats of my brandy? If not then what does it help?

The functionality of the station and the tool you are useing to craft with are modifiers in determining experimental values and assembly values (chance of success and chance of failure during the different crafting steps). Other things that can effect these are pyollian cakes and bespin ports that we chefs are able to make. So, theoretically, your best chance of haveing amazeing successes and not crit failing is if you were to craft with a +15 crafting tool, in a resource center, with a +45 crafting station, and eating BEd pyollian cakeswhile drinking BEd bespin port. Yes, buying a +40 or better crafting station is well worth the money spent on it.

I thought crafting bonus food only applied to "artisan" crafting. So using it wouldn't help with food assembly and experimentation.
