Thread: Poison Resist Foods

asked this question in another post, but Ill ask again.
How is it calculated if you have +25 poison / disease resistant SEA's, and take the noodles.
The only poison resist food is Cho-nor-hoola.
Uses - 6
Fill rate - 16 (pretty small, means you have room left in your tummy)
Resist rate - 14%
Lasts - about 30 minutes
I have given you its average stats, bear in mind it's not the best a chef can make, but this is the stuff you can get made in a pinch if need be. The better the BE additive, the better your stuff will be. Talk to some chefs on your server, maybe they can help.
I think it'll go up to +25 or a little bit more, but that's not going to make much difference when you're getting hit with uber CM stuff.
What it WILL help with is DoT weapons, as the potency on those is usually relatively low. Pikemen in particular have lots of these (and are coming out of the woodwork since the Nightsisters stopped using Force powers), and if you find yourself up against one of these guys, I can see Cho-Nor-Hoola being a real lifesaver ![]()

potency - R = new potency. therefore, your max is:
potency - (R * 1.25) = new potency
this is based on food max being 25% better resistence. so the best you can do is 31.25 off potency. you'd better hope the DoT on that weapon about to play "this old man" on your a$$ has a potency of less than 70%.

There's also a food that reduces a dot's time, but i can't remember off the top of my head tho.
Dustcrepe
Yep,
But I can't find anyone to buy it. Need have a group PVP test to see how it works.
The Cho-Nor is great for PVE btw, not so for PVP. A Doc I was with gave it a glowing recomendation after using it in the Geno caves. Allowed her to get through the gasses with no ill effects. Also works well on Endor where everything tries to poison you.
