Thread: Opinions on this Chefly template
I quite often have a couple extra points left when making tissues. This would work unless you got some good resources and need 9 or 10 points. You could rely on amazings successes then to bring that up when need be, but the full 10 points would be better.
The think that will hurt is intelligent nutrients come at master BE. So anything that needs a heavy additive you are SOL on. If you are serious about making your own tissues, you may want to drop the swords stuff and master BE since you will need to have access to a BE to get good tissues or the heavies. I guess the other option would be to unlock the second char when you can in a couple months.
Without formal 1 in tailor, you have to outsource for your trim. That might be a pain in the butt, when 11 more points means you can make them yourself when you need them, sans storage problems.
Biz 3 is good enough if you're in a big vendor mall or have some other form of external advertising (forum spam, whatever). But, if you're not, and if you're planning on making this a serious business not just a way to make food for personal use, you're probably going to want a few vendors, not the bulkies, and a bit of advertising to get your name on the map. Novice merchant and ad3 would get you two vendors and their names on the planetary map.
Without the engineering line in artisan, you're going to be lacking a lot of experimentation points in artisan foods (you may or may not care about this, most don't sell well anyway with the possible exception of air cake). Without a few boxes in surveying, finding your own resource waypoints will be something of a pain in the butt (although chandad helps a little). Neither are crippling but they are little annoyances.
BE requires scout, obviously, but I dunno if there's room in your temp for enough exploration (mask scent) to milk properly.
I think I'd dump the BE lines, and try Chef 4444M, Merchant 3000, Artisan 0440, Tailor 0100, Swordsman 0440 (whichever two lines are best), Brawler 0040, Scout 2000, and spread the remaining 32 points between surveying/swords/hunting/engineering depending on your playstyle.
But what the hell do I know. My templates are what I love, not what I need or should logically do. I don't even have a scout character of my own to get meat. I have to beg the fiance to do it for me.
BTW when the merchant revamp comes, Business 3 probably won't be enough for you. Your probably going to be limited on the number of items on your vendor and that limit might be quite small(under 200 I'm guessing for bus 3).
The revamp right now I think is scheduled for Pub 10 or 11.
