I am on corbantis and i just mastered chef today. The norm on the server for brandy is +400 for 46m or so for around 200K a crate. The best I can make right now is around +366 for 38m. If i priced these for 100k to 120k per crate would they sell? I should be getting a bit better BE enhancements soon as i only have 82 right now and i have a run of 84 coming, but my resources suck being that i just finished the grind today. thanks for the answers.

Try and get the duration to 45m and that brandy will sell for 100k. especially if you advertise round noob places, eisley being a prime example it will sell.

It sounds like your server runs on the high end, but from personal experience, my brandy is usually +430/45 minutes/49f/21 use or better and I charge 150-155k per crate. Mind you, this is some of the best brandy available on my server and there are still days I get people that whine that 150k is too much because so-and-so has it cheaper (a whole different story altogether, since I know for a fact that one crate lasts for nearly 200 hours of game play and the amount of money that can be made in eight 24-hour periods is enormous for the amount spent!). If you can be the so-and-so and sell it for much cheaper than what the norm is on your server, I think it'll still move, though maybe not as quickly as the chefs making the higher buff/longer duration product. You may want to look into getting better resources so that you can either hit +400 or get up to the 40-minute range. People don't always know the difference 40 minutes and 45 minutes makes, but they will notice that the enhancement isn't over 400 immediately. It may not seem like a lot, but brandy with those stats, even on my not-too-hyperinflated server would probably only go for around 90-100k. What you may want to try is to start off pricing lower than you would ideally like, advertise the heck out of your shop, put a bunch of singles or split crates on the bazaar with all of your information and then see if it'll sell. If it's flying, then raise the price a little bit. Keep doing this until you've reached a level of sales that you're comfortable with, and leave the price there, only raising it if you get an extraordinary batch or your resources improve.

Best of luck!

I have bought the lower grade before for new players, and even for myself. My ranger usually gets the lower grade stuff when he's just out huntin, and doesn't need. It will probably sell, maybe not as fast as the good stuff. Always good to have some on stock anyways.

I'm actually in the process of doing exactly what you said onpurpose. I just mastered chef and I don't have the time or money to locate and buy the very best resources. There is a"niche" available on our server for food and drink for the player who isn't rich for whatever reason. Not everypersonneeds the very best foodand drinks andmany can't afford the best. Many people also don't need crates of 25 until they get farther along in the game and have more money to spend at one time on a large crate. My plan is to beupfront w/customers and tell them that my food will be cheaper because it is lower quiality than the top- notch chefs. I'll also only sell my food in crates of 5 and 10. We'll see how it goes.
