I was playing around with my flora mulcher/processor and combined 2 types of fruits and the output was mixed fruits. I went to make a run of bantha butter and the mixed fruit does not count as a fruit. What good is the recycler if we cannot use the outputs?

What did you put in, and what was the resource type of the recycled output?

Don't forget: there's "fruits" which is one specific type of resources, and "fruit" which is a more general resource category including berries, flowers, and fruits. Bantha butter requires "fruits", so recycled berries or flowers definitely won't work. Recycled "fruits" may or may not work, depending on how high up the resource tree the recycler converts to.

I haven't been able to get my hands on one of these, so I don't know what "level" of the resource tree comes out. If berries, fruits, and flowers come out as "Mixed Fruit" with a resource type of "fruit", it can be used in anything required "fruit", but not anything requiring "fruits". See if the recycled resource can be used in Canape, since that accepts berries, flowers, or fruits.

Yes, when it comes out its labeled fruit. Resource type and class both say mixed fruits.

I've tested all the schematics. I know what the bug is. The recycled stuff only works in schematics that call for fruit, if it calls for fruitS it does not work.

Here is list of schematics that will not accept recycled fruit.

The only 2anyone should ever use agrinding type fruit in is bantha butter and sweet cake mix.The stats on recycled fruit are 200 in each stat.

Do you guys think the flora recyclers are worth the cost of them right now? I can see using the creature ones for milk but with as cheap as grind cereal, fruits, berries and veggies are I kinda feel like the flora ones are more trouble than they're worth right now.

I think the whole intention was for people to combine their small stacks of resources into one larger stack therefor deleting several items in storage. They are always looking for ways to do this and with all the new loot dropping they had to make room somehow. Just my 2 cents
