I was thinking the other day.. no one knows what foods do.. so i was thinking.. what if i put food on a big table.. and rename just that food with the name and the buffs it does... and have it look like a buffet!!!

of course, they would still have to buy it from the vendor, but still

can i do this, and if so, is it a good idea??

As a non chef I am curious as to why not?

Have they addressed this issue?

The tables in the guild halls look awful pretty.

Spiced tea falls at the same level as the top of a Modern End Table.

Yes if your cantina is in a room with stairs.

You drop the item on a stair coresponding to the height of the table and then use the /movefuniture direction distance comand to mve it to the location you want

direction is forward or back

distance is 1 to 100

Hope this helps

on my end tables in my PA hall i found a two photolike things (one looks like a GBA and the other looks likee........well i dunno what it looks like) and they look pretty cool there. If you look in some of the npc chef halls you see all sorta of food on the tables, i think this would make a pretty cool effect.

THanks for mentioning this! I had delivered a bunch of food for a wedding reception. While i went back to town they had arranged the food very nicely on the table.

When I got back and saw the beautiful display I didn't even ask about it because I assumed that it was a new feature. Imagine my surprise when I got back to my cafe and everything fell on the floor like usual

The good thing is that my medium house has stairs so I'm going to be playing with this today!

I just did a food display for someone (I don't have stairs). Took me the better part of two hours to arrange about 15 items.

A few tricks:

- Forward/back is relative to YOU. Face a different direction to move it a different direction.

-Forfiner control use/move forward x, /rotate left x, where x is degrees to rotate, etc.

- Try moving the table next to the stairs to make it easier to gage the height. Once you get everything at the right height it's easy to move stuff around the room to a better spot.

- There isn't one height per stair. As you move up the stairs you gradually change heights, allowing for fine adjustment to the height of the food/drink you drop.

Ridiculous interfaces.. sigh.
