Chef Archive

I crafted for 2 hours lastnight checked my skill box and had not received any exp. Am i doing something wrong am making food just no exp. I have made atleast half the items i can ake as novice chef and still nothing.

What specifically are you crafting, and which xp type are you checking? The chef branches alluse Food Crafting xp, which is only gained when crafting chef foods. Making more Bofa Treats and Starshine Surprises won't get you anywhere.

The other thing is were you just checking the progress bar in the skill tree, the floating xp tracker, or the numeric "X of 32000 Food Crafting xp" description? The first box of all four branches need 32000 xp, and depending on what you were crafting and how fast, you might not have made enough progress to get that first row of yellow pixels.Especially since the highest xp item in Novice Chef is Wastril bread at 70, with an extra3 when practice is turned on.

Are you sure you are crafting Novice chef foods. The foods in the domestic arts tree only give crafting experience. Only foods within the chef tree give cooking XP. Hope this helps.
