Thread: FISHAK: qual vs quant
Culinary masters! please let me know what you think!
Hi Lan! I am on kett and i love your shop. You definantly make the best fishak around. My guild bought all you "ultimate fishak" that you had stocked on your vendor ![]()
I think quality matters most... Its nice when it doesnt have any negative effects like your ulitimate fishak. But im not a chef and I dont know how many uses you have to sacrifice to get quality that good.
wow that was annoying... didnt even get to finish post and it double posted!
Anyways, i guess its good to balance it out... but i think most customers check the qual first before quantity... i dont normaly check quant until after i buy it based on quality ![]()
Lannageyy!
I am on kettemore also and have made both types of fishak. Quality vs quantity.
The first was 14 drinks per stack, +480ish mind, -30ish health. 35k a crate
The second is 10 drinks per stack, +590mind, +12health. 50k a crate
Everyone wanted the second batch over the first.
Hope that helps you.
When stack size is unusually high in a run, I add it to the description. I've tried high quantity and high effectiveness...and frankly...I sell out of both fast.
In fact, I just dropped off 100 crates on my two vendors (one near Coronet and the other in a player city with no shuttle until tomorrow or thursday). The Coronet location has already sold 30 crates in the last 3 hours and the other vendor has sold 22. The crates are 550ish, 10 use, duration 750-800...all priced at 60k a crate. By tonight it should all be gone...luckily I have 2 more runs due out in 3 hours, and 3 more due out late tonight or early tomorrow.
When I was making lower buff/bigger quantity fishak, I couldn't sell it until I put the use in the description. I also put singles on the bazaar for 3k a pop and watched them fly out. I still stock the bazaar with the lowest buff fishak (right now thats 534/10 use...but I'll be switching to 545/9 use tonight) I have on hand. I add a WP to my shop to each item, and rotate the bazaar 3-5 times daily...
My point? It doesn't matter what kind of fishak you make...if it says fishak they will buy it... ![]()

Moira, do you put the quantity in your descriptions? Since stack sizes are still hidden on drink crates, the customers don't really have anything else to judge Fishak on but buff quality..
Sometimes I did, but if I got a really good combine that left me with an extra point above normal it went into charges so I would guess likeFishak 10-11. If I knew the stack size I would tack on the number on the end of the name for foods and drinks. If not I would put it in the item description on my merchant. I never put the buff size or duration in the item name.
To be honest though, people don't care, know any better or both. Before I went out of town on thanksgiving, I started 8 factory runs of various drinks. For some reason I mislabeled the quantity on each one. Some were off as far as 5 uses per stack. I checked with everyone who bought anything to make sure they read I mislabeled them and would buy back the crates if they were unhappy. Out of the 160 crates, not one complaint and very few read the descriptions.
Hope that helps.
