hiya guys, just wondering if you guys need harvested meats from animals.

I have a bunch of meat that is OQ 940 (around) and Flavor 952 (i think). Would that be good for chefs and how much would you pay for it per unit?

Thanks

Price will depend on a couple of things:

1) Chefs need high PE (most important), high OQ, and on some things we need high Flavor - All three stats wil effect the price

2) Quantity. I can't speak for all the Chefs out there, but if it's not enough for me to do a factory run of 20 crates minimum then I won't buy it. For example,a run of 20 Crates of Bivoli I would need 15k Carnivore meat.

3) Type of meat. Some recipies are specific meat, ie. Bivoli, so the type is important also.

That said, i've seen good meat go for as high as 50cpu (well over 900 in all important stats), average I see would be between 10-30 cpu for average to good quality.

Bio Engineers can use the meat as well.

By far the biggest user of meat would be a BE or a Chef that makes their own tissues. Only a few popular recipes use meat while all BE food uses meat because of the tissue.

I'm like the post above in that it has to be a minimum quantity unless it is currently being harvested. 15k lots is my limit as that is the lowest for a BE tissue run of 1000 pieces.

I tend to pay 20-30 cpu for meat for normal BE tissues. Higher quality that would produce +25 Bivoli I go up to 50cpu for. This can change from server to server though.

I would have thought that DR would rank a bit above the OQ. IIRC the DR determines 2/3 of your quantity. OQ is weighted in the 1/4 to 1/3 range.

You are correct that DR is important, mainly for the "filling" aspect of what you are creating; however, IMHO, Nutrition is the most important stat and is what I pay most attention to.

For most resources, and for carnivore meat (for which the main Chef usage is Bivoli) doubly so, the order of stat important is PE, OQ, DR/FL.

Somebody once argued with my sister as to whether FL or PE was more important for carnivore meat. Needless to say they were /addignored and /banned from all stores.

If insect meat i would say DR and OQ for double buff vercupti. Carn meat PE and OQ for high end Bivoli. But high PE and OQ in insect meat would be just as good.
