Hello to all you chefs that use the forums, from the BE's that use the forums!

Well i'd like to conduct a survey to help us get you guys what you need. if we know what you need, then we can supply you with it so we make more money off bulk and you guys have the stuff to make all the things you make money off of (this'll help us all).

so i just had a few questions i wanted to ask you guys, but with your responses please leave your server and (if you wish) your in-game name. thanks!

1) What would you say is needed most overall: heavy suppliments, medium suppliments, or light suppliments?

2) What do you need/like to have most: nutritional suppliments, flavor suppliments, or filling-reducing suppliments?

3) What do you have the most trouble finding on your server?

4) Of each type of suppliment (nutritional, flavor, filling), what do you use most, heavys, mediums, or lights?

5) Is there a certain type of food/drink that you fucus on most or do you make everything(only mind enhancement, only skill mods, only _____)?

6) Any comments on your personal demand for BE suppliments?

Thanks for your time everyone i'm hoping to compile what i can get in a few days or so (up to a week if i'm still gettting responses). I hope that by getting your needs and uses for each galaxy we can get an idea of what needs to be made more and how we can reach your demand for these items so that you can make your stuff.

Thanks again!

1) What would you say is needed most overall: heavy suppliments, medium suppliments, or light suppliments?

Mediums with a power of 85 is nice.

2) What do you need/like to have most: nutritional suppliments, flavor suppliments, or filling-reducing suppliments?

Nutrition

3) What do you have the most trouble finding on your server?

Nice Fruits atm.

4) Of each type of suppliment (nutritional, flavor, filling), what do you use most, heavys, mediums, or lights?

Mediums

5) Is there a certain type of food/drink that you fucus on most or do you make everything(only mind enhancement, only skill mods, only _____)?

Doing all the big sellers really, Brandy, some bluemilk, synthasteak, the usual.

6) Any comments on your personal demand for BE suppliments?

I personally would like to see some prices go down, sometimes its worth paying good prices, but I think 25k per crate of mediums with a power of 85 is reasonable, no more of this 45k a crate with powers of 64.

1) What would you say is needed most overall: heavy suppliments, medium suppliments, or light suppliments?

I would have to agree with Mediums with a power of 85

2) What do you need/like to have most: nutritional suppliments, flavor suppliments, or filling-reducing suppliments?

Nutritional

3) What do you have the most trouble finding on your server?

Good quality meats. Even though I have basic scout and rifle skills, it is still a big pain to try and get enough to make a large factory run. Since there are so fwe people that actually play on a regular basis anymore, trying to find someone that sells scouted items is next to impossible.

4) Of each type of suppliment (nutritional, flavor, filling), what do you use most, heavys, mediums, or lights?

Mediums, heavys, and then lights.....in that order.

5) Is there a certain type of food/drink that you fucus on most or do you make everything(only mind enhancement, only skill mods, only _____)?

Brandy, of course is a big seller. Vagnarian canape, Havla, and Blue milk are a few of my top sellers.

6) Any comments on your personal demand for BE suppliments?

It is difficult for me to find a BE that can keep nutrients in stock. I do not know if this is because of the lack of BE's on my server, or if it is because of the lack of people playing the game all together right now. The prices for the suppliments can vary wildly on my server, depending on who you buy them from. I am going to assume it is because some BE's scout out the items required on their own while others contract it out.

thanks for the responses so far guys, i love to see a positive response to posts! just a few things i would like to make clear/clearer:

on #3- it's also helpful for us to know what resource is most needed for you guys, but i don't know how much the BE's can affect that. what i really meant was what of the things a be can make do you have the most tle finding?

on #4- knowing which is used most is helpful, but i was really looking for out of each type of suppliment, what gets used most. eg:

nutritional-mediums,flavor-heavies, mass-reducing-heavies

on #6- i know most if not all of the chefs would like tosee prices go down, but please, PLEASE stay off the prices of BE products.

Quick blurb on prices(please do not comment on this here): unfortunatly because of the high demand for goodmeat and good quality organics, sometimes it just comes down to the fact that prices as low as 25k for a crate of 85's are not even possible because the price of the things that we need to do that is so high (the second part of this is that it canbecome unprofitable for a BE to sell so low if they cannot get something in return). howevereverything will vary by serverwhich is why i want to stay away from this for now.****I may create another thread to help explain what i have seen as far as prices from the BE's perspective, but because i am trying to collect a specific type of info from this thread, again, please do not mention prices of suppliments ect., the goal here is to be able to meet your demand, which i would hope would eventually lower prices****

oh 1 last little bit in case you don't have it listed in your name by your pic-please post your server. because i hope to categorize this by server to get the best results it will make my job a ton easier if server name is in the post!

Thanks again guys i'll check this every so often to clear things up!

Good luck making your own then, mate

It's not worth producing them at that price, which is why I have stopped working for chefs.

The demand for medium and heavy nutritional supplements is very strong. I care more about the quality of the mediums that I do about the quality of the heavies because foods like Ahrisa and Brandy benefit greatly from tissues that are 85+ quality. Don't get me wrong, quality is still important on heavies but in general that kind of food is a bit more forgiving.

The biggest bottleneck for Chefs/BE's by far is going to be acquiring high quality meat. I was so tired of worrying about the meat problem that I decided to take care of it once and for all. I waited until there was a good spawn of Dathomir Carnivore meat and then started a huge meat drive offering 20cpu on my trade forum. I got a great response and in a few days I had 800k of high quality meat. Now, instead of paying 1.2 million for a full run medium tissues and going through all the trouble of contacting and haggling with BE's, I just "roll my own" BE tissues. I save about 600k per full run on the cost of tissues and I get to operate on my own schedule because I'm no longer at the mercy of BE's and their ever increasing prices.

Toss up between mediums and heavies

2) What do you need/like to have most: nutritional suppliments, flavor suppliments, or filling-reducing suppliments?

Highest potency possible.

3) What do you have the most trouble finding on your server?

I am both a Master Chef and Master BE, so this doesn't apply to me.

4) Of each type of suppliment (nutritional, flavor, filling), what do you use most, heavys, mediums, or lights?

Nuritional: Heavy & lights

Flavor: Mediums

Filling: Heavy

5) Is there a certain type of food/drink that you fucus on most or do you make everything(only mind enhancement, only skill mods, only _____)?

I tend to make a little of everything though the demand for things like Canape and Brandy are higher.

6) Any comments on your personal demand for BE suppliments?

Considering how much the Chef will turn around and sell the final product for I wouldn't sell to them either...

1) What would you say is needed most overall: heavy suppliments, medium suppliments, or light suppliments? Medium would be most used. Need Heavy for Bivoli & Canape though

2) What do you need/like to have most: nutritional suppliments, flavor suppliments, or filling-reducing suppliments? Nutrition for certain.

3) What do you have the most trouble finding on your server?Neither.

4) Of each type of suppliment (nutritional, flavor, filling), what do you use most, heavys, mediums, or lights? Nutritional on all, heavy, mediums and lights.

5) Is there a certain type of food/drink that you fucus on most or do you make everything(only mind enhancement, only skill mods, only _____)? Vas Brandy and Ahrisa are my two staples. V Canape, Bivoli, Air Cake, Synthsteak, Thakitillo, Vercupti, Citrus Snow Cake are all foods I will make as well.

6) Any comments on your personal demand for BE suppliments? At the moment I'm in high production mode and can easily go through 80 crates of BE suppliments a day.

yeah this is what i was hoping i could fix, and by knowing what specifically chefs need in what quantities i hope we (BE's) can streamline the process to make what you want/need most instead of making the things you do not need and losing valuable time and resources.

KEEP IT COMING THIS IS REALLY HELPFUL!

oh and a/bump....if it's not at the top already.
to the Bio-Engineers, i would ask that you TRY to refrain from posting here as it'll just clog up the thread and make it harder for me to sift through the data. i'm working on a post that discusses prices and the problems with stuff like that that i would ask you tp please post facts and opinions once it's done (should be done today). THANKS!!
