Chef Archive

I just made novice chef recently and I only have entrees II. I noticed that I have three schematics in my datapad but they don't show up in the crafting tool They are Fried Endwa, Karkan Ribenes, and Veghash. We're these taken from chef or is this a bug? Anyone else having this problem

Also what's up with the crappy xp when crafting food. I don't have anything that gives me over 105xp. Artisan seemed to go much faster on the crafting...It seems like I got more xp for the items I crafted.

Make sure you have a tool for food and med (not a general), and you might need to be near a crafting station. As the difficulty of items increases, you progress: general tool > specialized tool > public crafting station > player-owned crafting station

For the xp issue: crafting up levels gets harder no matter what profession you are in. Early on you want mixII so you can grind Ithorian mists at 178xp a pop.

Rock on Naturner! Thanks for that bit of Mixology info. As for the schematics not showing up in the tool. I havea food and chem tool and my own food and chem crafting station. I tried standing by it last night and it still didn't work. Didn't work with my droid (who has a food crafting station in it) either.

Okay...appearantly I have to stand inside the crafting station to get those missing schematics to show up. ButI have to wonder if this is a bug, because it's not like this food is the all-buff-giving food of foods, so whyshould you have to be in a station to make it? Hmmm... Not a big issue really unless you wanted to grind on those items.

Is there more than one crafting station in the room you are crafting in? If you have, say, a clothing and armor crafting station near the food/chem one, your crafting tool will only recognize the station that is closest to you. Try moving the other station to another part of the house.

Thanks! I moved the other crafting station and now i don't have to get in the food and chem one in order for it to work
