First of all let me say that i read entirely thru the FAQ andthis question remained. I notice that on the schematic for vasarian brandy it requires 2 identical alcohols from a factory crate. Basically im understanding that to mean that per schematic of 1000 alcohols i will be able to make 500 brandies and in turn 20 crates of alcohol. Along with the berries and the fruit, i will also need 500 casks and 500 medium additives. My question that i was not 100 percent totally sure on is, do the casks and the additives need to have the same serial numbers or can i use different casks and additives from different schematics in the final assembly of the vasarian brandy?

I am running about 2500 additives in this batch of brandy and i was going to label each schematic of alcohol as alcohol-1, -2, -3, etc so i could be sure i used all the same alcohols in the final combine in the factory at the same time. Any other suggestions you may have to keep things organized in the final factory run would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your response.

When you make components, such as Additives, Alcohol etc. you should add something to identify them as the same batch. I normally add the last few numbers/letters of the serial no., so would have Alcohol (e4r) as an example.

Everything has to be indentical for a factory run apart from Casks/containers. So to make 20 crates of Brandy, you would need.

40x25 crates of indentical Alcohol

20x25 crates of indentical Medium food additives

20x25 casks

10,000 fruit

10,000 berries

thx for responding, but i'm still a bit confused about something. the berries, fruit, i understand are main ingredients and of course have no serial numbers assigned to them. the alcohol as it states in the schematic requires 2 identical alcohols from a factory crate which i understand to mean that the serial numbers have to be identical. Now here is where im a bit confused. the cask is considered a subcomponent, it requires a quantity of one in the schematic and does not have to have the same serial number. my confusion is that the tissues r made from various resources, then combined with water to make an additive. it seems to me that they both go thru various steps why wouldnt they both be considered subcomponents of the vasarian brandy and like the cask why couldnt u use tissues/additives from different schematics if you wanted to. The schematic from what i can tell does not say that you have to use the same serial number on the additives. Is it implied that you have to use the same serial number? Has anyone ever tried using different serial numbers for additives in the same factory run of brandy and did it work? I think i read something earlier in the faq, where it said that if you change the description of an item, then you basically cause that item to be different. I'm rambling i know, sorry, but i guess what im asking is if i run different schematics of medium additives and i combine different ones and not change the description, will it work? If not i will be manually separating 3 batches of additives if they must all be the same serial number.

thanks in advance for your response

All components must have identical serial numbers except for casks.
