I'm currently an MBE/TKM. Right now I'm thinking about picking up chef. Not master as I won't have any skillpoints left for exploration which is a MUST if you like to make pets. I'll be able to make some really good drinks. The question is, Is the +20 or 25 assembly/experimentation that good? Does it make a big difference? Will I be able to compete with other chefs brandy?

It will ultimately depend on your pricing.
Master Chefs with 12 poins usually charge a premium for providing the best possible product. Lesser chefs fill a different need and serve a different client base.
Charge according to your abilities and you wont go wrong.
Good luck.

I serously doubt you would get that many customers. I know on bria there are 12 point chefs selling crates of brandy for 75k. For you to be able to price your brandy cheap enough to compete, there would be no profit margin left.
