It is primarily just like everything else in life.

If you cant get it, then you want it real bad.
If you have it, then you don't use it much.

There are several recipes that require milk

We have no idea whether the recipes requiring milk are good or not, which is one reason we obsess on it. Who knows whether Terrata could be the next Tatooine Sunburn. Since none of our current recipes (excepting the Sunburn) have any realdemand, we hope and pray that milk will be our savior.

Besides, don't knock Blue Milk. Sure, it's in-game use may not be that great (it was what, +150 mind?), but come on. It's Blue Milk!

These are all the recipes that require milk:

Jaar

Cho-nor-hola

Terratta

Bantha Butter

Para Roll

Pikatta Pie

Smuggler's Delight

Sweesonberry Rolls

Blue Milk

Tranna Nougat Cream

Deneelian Fizz Pudding

If it was only Blue milk that required milk, then it might not be as high a priority. But as you can see a good chunk of our recipes require it. Besides, it's just annoying that the developers would make such a glaring mistake.

It's not available, to put it succinctly. Granted some people aren't going to be as impressed with missing a componenet for a FOOD item as opposed to saya weapon, but it's still very annoying.

The only stats I have seen on what those foods (the ones requiring milk) is based on limited beta experience and it's my understanding milk was rare then as well.

At the moment (still?), milk is a rare loot drop item from NPCs - they're going to make it something we can harvest apparently (or scouts can?) but, well, we got eggs. *shrugs*

Speaking of milk n eggs... I'm dying to know: all you higher level Chefs out there - do eggs go into any schematic yet?? I heard that they may have changed some things, but of course I can't see it yet (I'm still just barely 2/3 of the way to Mix I).

Ok well I did a bit of searching (yeah I know "duh") and apparently eggs aren't used for a thing directly by Chefs *weeps* And now I may add something to my top "5" problems list because the Bio-Engineers who apparently CAN use eggs n whatnot to make whatever that biological component is, well that doesn't work either. *sighs* I'm going to test again tonight if I can get ahold of my BE friend. Apparently I'm holding eggs for him

I understand milk is rare.

BUt from what ive seen Blue milk (the only thing i know of that uses milk) isnt very good.

What makes milk so good? Why is it in hih demand other than its rarity?
