If so... I have the Resource Price Submission system done... Need to add the showing of how much things are costing (which I am doing today) and other stuff... but check out what I have code without the visual design from Saitek.. It will be prettier after she gets her hands on it.. Also I don't have it on the domain yet b/c I cant get there from where I am at this time...

But the URL is for my testing and you all can submit things cause I will do a SQL Dump and import when I move...

Ohh and note... I am watching the entries and recording IP's... So if I begin to see someone just posting bogus data... I will just ban them from using the site.

I think you might need some more information.

For example, I have two types of wheat I usually use. one is a high quality wheat I use for for stuff I sell to my friends, the other is a low queslity wheat I grind with or make pet food out of. And I would see these for two different prices.

Well that is kind of hard to figure out... Unless I do a
Wheat (1-300) Low
Wheat (301-700) Medium
Wheat (701 - 1000) High

For each resource... Is that what you kind of what would like to see?

As the system is populated it will give us and those who wish to sell an average price on how much an item is worth... For example if people use this and submit their entries you can find out that Water is running about 3cr's per resource on your server... cause some are buying it at 3000credits for 1000 water and some are buying it at 2000 credits for 1000 water... it will just get us the average prices for resources... User submited...

A few things...

1. Re-check your spelling Quantity for example...
2. Shouldn't the Resource Names be expanded? For example, you have Fruit but you dont have Berries, Flowers, etc..

This tool would be even better for pricing food and drink... you'll need to update the entire table to include all the foodstuffs including domestics but it'd be a really nice way to figure averages for your planet. You've probably already thought about this of course

Add in a Quality field, so we know how good it is.

Add in a name field.

Like you have wheat....and the name of the type of wheat. Or would that cause a lot of problems?

Since chefs need to know overall quality an index (flav+pe+oq) would also be nice, this is how i grade most resources, even if some qualities are given uneven weight in a schematic. A score of 2000 is generally minimum for me to keep it in my private stash!

OK how about this... would you all like a form to fill out to put additional resources in (just incase they add more)?? There are TONS of resources and well... I honestly don't have enough time in a day to sit and enter all resources...

As for the quality... Umm how would you all suggest doing this? I would love to add the quality part but I am unsure how I would want to do the average price of resources? Should I ask for a Quality and then when I get the display of average prices it does a average prive for resources and then have like 4 or 5 differnat level's of quality? Say like:

Wheat -
0 - 200 : 2cr
201 - 400 : 2.5cr
401 - 600 : 3cr
601 - 800 : 4cr
801 - 1000 : 6cr

?? Does something like that sound resonible? I have no problem designing what ever we need that will help us as chefs get our food out on the market to sell...

Future plans:

Registered Chefs - Menu with an Order form.. Chefs will be able to say I wish to use average prices and this is the lvl I am at... Then users will come click on their Server and then they can list all chefs or just ones on their planet or their city... They will then be displayed that chef's menu (items he/she can make).. They will then look through and if they wish to order they click "Add to Cart" and it will add it and they can pick how many they wish and stuff... then when they check out it will send an e-mail to you saying this person wishes to order this stuff... and a confirmation e-mail to the user saying you are asking for this stuff from this chef on this server/planet/city... Then you will be able to change the status of the order like "In Production" when your making it... Or Order Ready for Delivery when you finish making their stuff and order delivered... I dunno... just brainstorming right now.. But in order for all this to happen I will need help... some in design and maybe in mathmatical stuff but main in the population of the Database to help have a complete database with average prices and items to be ordered and stuff... That is my goal... but I am working 1 step at a time... first get the average price system in place... Then add listing of food items we can make... add the part listing average prices for the food items for the resources... Then create the chef registration and menu list and hopefully in the end add the order form...

Now these are all my ideas... haven't really gone through it all with Saitek (spelling)
